CPR (Café Performance Reviver)

The Cafe Performance Reviver is a 6 Week Intensive course, focused on helping you to achieve 3 Quick Wins based on the 3 Core Issues that are causing you pain in your business.

What you get

  • Preliminary analysis of the issues facing your business
  • Customised Strategic Action Plan with KPIs for tracking performance
  • 2.5 hour initiation session at your venue
  • 2 hours per week with mentor working against your weekly action plan (digital meeting room)
  • 6 hours of in-store, hands-on support by specialist Cafe Lab team members to assist in implementation of strategic action plan
  • 2 hour final review session at your venue
  • A system of accountability to assist you in reaching targets

What we need from you

  • A positive attitude, an open mind and eagerness to grow your business
  • 5 hours per week for yourself and/or a team member to carry out the necessary tasks associated with the implementation of the action plan, in addition to the meetings and on-site sessions listed above

CAFE FIT BOOT CAMP

Cafe Fit Boot Camp is a 6 Month Cafe Fitness Program designed to reboot your business and resolve your unique 3 Core Issues, while also taking a holistic approach to optimising the health of your business by following Cafe Lab’s ‘5 Elements’ methodology of People, Product, Profitability, Process & Promotion.

SALES TRAINING ANALYSIS and WORKSHOP

Learn techniques to increase the average spend per transaction, increase frequency of visits by your customers, gain new customers and create new revenue streams. In this analysis we strength test your sales team through a ‘secret shopper’ visit to your cafe, then follow up with a 2 hour workshop with your team to develop their skills as sales people.

Barista Jam : Group training session (Basic to Intermediate Level)

3 hours at your cafe including:

  • Foundational coffee education, from farm to cup
  • Assessment of up to 5 baristas, targeting key areas of improvement
  • 2 hours of hands-on training
  • Q&A and troubleshooting

Note - all staff are welcome to join the event, however up to 5 baristas only for hands on training.

One on One Coffee Coaching : Tailored to the skills and needs of the business (Intermediate Level)

3 Hours at your cafe with your lead barista to develop any or all of the following;

  • Extraction & espresso comprehension
  • Milk texturing and latte art
  • Reducing waste
  • Ordering and storage practices
  • Cleaning procedures
  • Systems implementation (extraction logs, storage procedures etc)

Note - not suited to service periods

One on One Coffee Coaching (Advanced)

3 Hours on site with your lead barista to develop any or all of the following;

  • Review of extraction methods
  • Optimisation of workflows
  • Systems for multiple baristas on your machine
  • Brew recipe formulation and/or implementation
  • Advanced latte art
  • Systems implementation (extraction logs, storage procedures etc)
  • Leadership coaching

On Shift Barista Training (Beginner to Advanced)

Training with your baristas during shift is an effective way to improve skills and ability to handle pressure, particularly in these areas;

  • Espresso extraction
  • Cleanliness practices
  • Milk texture and latte art

  • Working with 2 baristas to streamline busy service periods
  • Troubleshooting problems

CAFE MINDING SERVICE - GUNS FOR HIRE

We understand the stresses involved in leaving your business, whether it's for a day or a month, and we can help. Our options are flexible and can include:
